What kinds of evidence are crucial
This is based on my experience of collecting data. Some of my techniques might developed with my skills in ethnographic researches. However, I am not making any dedication to any of my anthropology professors as they were the ones who worked with gang stalkers. I am glad that I can use my skill for something helpful for people being oppressed (including myself ironically..).
Many digital cameras have video shooting function, so I strongly suggest to get a small yet quick-responding digital camera for filming and photo taking. Also, owning a handy camera is better than having a voice recorder. You can use your camera for voice recording while you turn it on in your bag or in your pocket. Later, you can extract the audio part from the movie file to save your hard drive space.
Films:
-
The conversation and actions of gang stalkers. This will enables you to recognize what they are doing at that specific time of that day. Moreover, unlike photos, you will get their voices (for voice printing analysis) with their figures. Sharing with others in the close location to discover if the same people are working for other victims.
-
Get their identity on the film as much as possible. For instance, the license numbers of their cars and how other calling them each other.
-
Where they come from and which way they disappear. It might give another clues if you can get them in your films or photos. If they appear at specific range of time or places, you might have further information about them.
-
In emergency case, you can turn on your video to start voice recording. Even your camcorder is in your backpack, you can get something for evidences. Be careful about not making noises of the bag as all you can get from the camcorder is voice recordings. You do not hear too much noises in your tape.
Photos:
-
Much of the evidences you can get is as same as films. However, photos often have clearer images of their figures than the films due to the resolution difference.
-
DO NOT spend too much time trying to take photos. The benefit of taking a photo is just like taking a visualized information of your surrounding environment. Later, you might find the same people in another photo. If this happens more than three times in different places you have gotten something to share with others.
-
Take time for analysis than taking actual photos.
-
DO NOT use zooming function. Turn it on, point the lens toward the target(s), shoot it, and you got information!
Voice Recording:
-
To prove your voice recording as a valid evidence, you should be able to explain the identities of the people talking in your recording.
-
Recording “hinting” of passers-by has no value as people can claim that you might made up the evidence by asking someone to speak up the sentences.
-
Unlike photos and films, voice recording will not show where and when you record. The benefit of voice recording is people have less chance of notice than using a camera.
Note-Taking:
-
Yes, this is the basic but the most effective way of recording evidences. Ecological and you do not have to worry about changing batteries. But your evidences are more based on actual words and numbers.
-
License plate numbers and names of the stalkers.
-
Where they appear and disappear.
-
The bus stop or station name they get in or get out.
-
Record additional information that you could not get from filming and other techniques.
-
Palm Pilot works as a handy tool, but bring some blank papers for emergency purpose.
-
People mention less to someone taking notes than taking photos.
Caution:
If you want to film or take photos of the multi stalkers, be careful about your situation. Look around if it is a reasonable place to take out your camera from your bag or not. You can camouflage your intention of taking a photo of people around you by acting like taking a photo of a “sign” like tourist information board or something else. Directory taking the photo of them is not a good idea as you are surrounded by stalkers. What they want is to claim something illegal of whatever you do.
